STAR Interbank Transfer Transaction Set

The transaction set for STAR interbank transfers is as follows:

1. Interbank Debit Transactions – A debit transaction in which an interbank sending member debits a STAR account holder’s access account(s) to fund a credit. While this transaction is supported, it isn’t processed through the STAR network.
2. Interbank Credit – A credit transaction between an interbank receiving member and a sending member for a credit on a deposit account. An interbank credit transaction requires a deposit and card number, but it does not require Track 2 data from a card or a PIN number.
