This is one of the most important parts of running a company, and many leave this to chance. Others have been through the wringer and have tried various solutions. Ideally, when one wants to accept credit cards with a merchant account, they will want to hit the ground running. This is not the case with Stripe as a client will have to spend a long time organizing everything and setting up his or her systems. This is not acceptable to a busy entrepreneur who wants to take in revenue from day one. Simply put, unless one has patience and a lot of tech knowledge, they should look elsewhere when they want to accept credit cards and other forms of payment.

Now, Stripe offers a comprehensive solution which allows one to make a lot of changes to the code and setup of the software. However, a busy entrepreneur who has no tech background will not know what to do or where to start. For this reason, it is overkill for business owners who want a solution to work from day one. Again, while Stripe is great for a developer who craves customization options, it is not beneficial for most people how need the merchant account to work out of the box.
With these three reasons, a person should know that Stripe is not the best solution for most people. While it offers a lot of options and plenty of support, most busy company owners should look somewhere else for a payment provider.
